Backups Tab

You can open or delete backup databases in the Backups tab.

To see the list of all backups, do one of the following:

• Using the System Connection drop-down list

  1. Find the connection you want to view in the System Connection drop-down list.

  2. Right-click and select Manage backups for <connection name>.

• Using the Manage System Connections window

  1. Right-click the System Connection drop-down list.

  2. Click Manage system connections. The Manage System Connection window appears.

  3. Find the connection you want to view, and then right-click and select Manage backups.

• Using the Setup menu button

  1. Click (Setup) in the main window, and then select Manage system connections. The Manage System Connections window appears.

  2. Find the connection you want to view, and then right-click and select Manage backups.

The Manage Backups—Backups Tab dialog box appears. The backup databases are presented in order of newest to older.

To open one or more backup databases, do one of the following:

To select a backup database, do one of the following:

1. • Double-click the backup database that you want to open.

   • Select the backup database, and then click Open, or right-click and select Open.

To select multiple backup databases:

1. 1. Do one of the following:

      • Press Ctrl, and then select one or more backup databases one by one.

      • Press Shift+Alt, and then select multiple backup databases at once.

   2. Click Open, or right-click and select Open.

To delete one or more backup databases:

1. Do one of the following:

   • To select a backup database, select the backup database you want to delete.

   • To select multiple backup databases, do one of the following:

   o      Press Ctrl, and then select one or more backup databases one by one.

   o      Press Shift+Alt, and then select multiple backup databases at once.

    

2. Click Delete, or right-click and select Delete.

3. When the Delete Backups message box appears, click Yes.
