When you terminate an offline session that was originated by opening a backup or existing database in a new offline session, the Save Session dialog box appears prompting you to save the session.
NOTE: This window does not appear if the offline session was opened from a previously saved offline session, because those sessions are already saved.
Do one of the following:
Accept the default session name.
Type a different name in the text box.
Click Save. The saved offline session appears with the assigned name in the Manage Offline Sessions window (see Managing Offline Sessions). If the session is one of the most recent offline sessions, it also appears in the list of Recent offline sessions (see Resuming Recent Offline Sessions).
If you click Save, and a session has been already saved with the entered name, a message box appears asking whether you want to overwrite the existing session. Click Yes.
Click Discard. The System Administration & Diagnostics application discards only the session. The backup or existing database used to open the session is unaffected, and any changes made during the session (that were not saved by performing a Database Save operation) are discarded.
