Managing Account Information

 

You can use the My Account page to manage your user profile information, various passcodes/passwords, and E-Mail Synchronization settings (if enabled). For more information on the Unified Voice Messaging (UVM) E-Mail Synchronization feature, see “Using E-Mail Synchronization“ in the latest available user guide for your phone.

The My Profile section displays your programmed phones and numbers. If desired, you can edit your home and mobile phone numbers.

The Change Passwords section allows you to change your User Phone Passcode (for Configuration Assistant and Remote Station Programming), User Web Portal Password, and Voice Mail Passcode (if using Unified Voice Messaging as your voice mail application). Existing password/passcode policies are enforced.

The E-Mail Synchronization section, which displays only if you are enabled for UVM E-Mail Synchronization, allows you to change your E-Mail Address and Message Audio Format (WAV or NONE). If the system is properly licensed and the your E-Mail Synchronization level is set to Enhanced Integration or Blackberry Enhanced Integration, you can also your change your E-Mail Account Username, E-Mail Folder, and E-Mail Account Password. as well as select the MP3 option for the Message Audio Format field. If the your mailbox is not enabled for E-Mail Synchronization or is a NuPoint Unified Messaging or Enterprise Messaging mailbox, this section is hidden.

 

To manage your account information:

1.    Click the My Account link in the top banner.

2.    Do any of the following:

·  To change your user profile information, click Edit next to My Profile. If desired, you can change your home and/or mobile phone numbers. Only your administrator can change the other profile information. Click Save Profile to save the information, or click Cancel to exit without saving.

·  To change any of your existing passcodes or passwords, click the desired link, enter the new passcode/password, and then enter it again to confirm it. Click Change Passcode or Change Password to save the information, or click Cancel to exit without saving.

·  To change any of your existing E-Mail Synchronization information, click Edit next to E-Mail Synchronization. If desired, you can change any of the settings. Click Save E-Mail Settings to save the information, or click Cancel to exit without saving.

 NOTE: If company policy requires you to periodically change your network password, you must also change your E-Mail Account Password to match your current network password.
