Storing Speed Dial Numbers

To store a Speed Dial number at a keyset:

Next: Go to next selection. Prev: Go to previous selection. Select: Select current Option. Back: Back out of current option. Exit: Exit Menu setup.
Menu + 71 (for Personal) or Menu + 72 (for Company) Select the Personal or Company Speed Dial sub-menu.
  01-20 (for Personal) or 001-999 (for Company) Enter the Speed Dial location.
  Prev Scroll backward through the Speed Dial locations.
  Next Scroll forward through the Speed Dial locations.
  Select Select the displayed Speed Dial location.
  >> or << Scroll forward or backward through the Speed Dial type choices
  • None
  • Intercom
  • Line
    • You must enter a line number (01-64) for this type.
  • Group
    • You must enter a group number (90-98) for this type.
  • Primeline
  Next Go to Speed Dial number entry for the displayed type.
  Number Enter the Speed Dial number.
  • You can enter up to 32 digits.
    • Digits 1-16 are stored in the location you have selected.
    • Digits 17-32 are stored in the next consecutive location (which becomes inaccessible).
    • Location 20 can only have 16 digits.
  • Entries can be any combination of:
    • Digits 0-9, * and #
    • Flash command (by pressing FLASH)
    • Pause command (by pressing MUTE)
  <- -> Scroll left or right to edit the number.
  Next -> Go to Speed Dial name entry for the number you entered.
  Name Enter the name for the Speed Dial number.
  <- -> Scroll left and right to edit the name.
  Save Save your Speed Dial entry.
  Cancel Cancel your entry.
  Back Back up to the previous level.
  Back Back up to the previous level.

To store a Speed Dial number at a Super Display:

Menu + Speed Dial Select the Speed Dial sub-menu.
  Personal or Company Select Personal or Company Speed Dial.
  01-20 (for Personal) or 001-999 (for Company) Enter the Speed Dial location.
  Select Select the displayed Speed Dial location.
  Select the type Choose the Speed Dial type:
  • Intercom
  • Line
    • You must enter a line number (01-64) for this type.
  • Group
    • You must enter a group number (90-98) for this type.
  • Primeline
  • None
  Back Back up to the previous level.
  Next Go to Speed Dial number entry for the displayed type.
  Number Enter the Speed Dial number.

Calling a Stored Speed Dial Number


  • Forced Account Codes may prevent Speed Dial from dialing 911 emergency services.

To call a Speed Dial number.

  1. Do one of the following:
    1. Press INTERCOM + Dial # + Dial the Speed Dial location. Locations are 701-720 for Personal, 001-999 for Company.
    2. [Personal at keyset only] Press a Speed Dial One-Touch key.
    3. [Personal at Super Display only] Push Spd Dial 1 for locations 701-710 or Spd Dial 2 for locations 711-720, then a soft key for the number you want to call.
    4. [Personal at Super Display only] Push idle menu soft key for Personal Speed Dial location,
    5. [Super Display only] Push Directory + Extension, Pers, or Cmpy + select location.
    6. [Keyset only] Push Dir + Ext, Personal, or Company + select location.
    7. Press a Feature Key assigned for Personal or Company Speed Dial.
  2. Optionally choose one of the following:
    1. To chain (link) stored numbers, wait for the first number to dial out and then press a One-Touch Key or Feature Key.
    2. If the programmed route is busy, press an idle line key to reroute the call.
    3. You cannot chain (link) Intercom numbers.

To assign a Speed Dial key:

  1. Push Menu.
    • Super Display: Push Key Assignment + Feature Keys.
    • Keyset: Dial 51.
